A WORD FROM THE CEO
Every day, there is constant pressure to be successful. We understand this, but we choose to celebrate those who, despite academic demands, have managed to shine in their chosen fields.
The Student Celebrity Awards, organized by Campus Models Worldwide in collaboration with our associate partners, is dedicated to recognizing students who, alongside their academic workload, have excelled in other areas of their lives. Our goal is to encourage young talents, identify the next generation of celebrities, nurture them, and provide them with the necessary support to attain their well-deserved fame.
Our Journey
Since our inception in 2020, the Student Celebrity Awards has grown into a highly recognized platform. Despite initial challenges, including limited sponsorship, we successfully hosted remarkable events that gained significant attention. Our past editions were held at the Wale Adenuga Event Center (PEFTI Hall) in partnership with WAP TV and other student-focused brands. Over the years, we have received strong endorsements from school authorities and witnessed massive student engagement.
In just the last year, we recorded over 500 nominees, with our winners making special appearances on TV, newspapers, and student-related events. Our awardees are carefully selected based on merit, ensuring they truly deserve the recognition they receive.
The first edition of the Student Celebrity Awards was planned for 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all nominations were postponed to 2021. Our second edition was held on March 27, 2022, at PEFTI Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos, with over 50 awardees in attendance.
Our Mission
We aim high and go for what we believe in. We see creativity, talent, and potential—and we refuse to let them go unnoticed. Our mission is to reward students for their passion by providing them with financial support, networking opportunities, and the visibility needed to achieve their dreams.
